Production Supervisor

We are seeking Production Supervisor to fill the role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily production activities. This role bridges the gap between project management team and production line, driving quality, productivity, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Production Oversee : Supervise all stages of cabinet production, from raw material prep to final assembly and finishing. Monitor workflow to ensure jobs are completed on time and meet quality standards

Team Management : Lead, train, and motivate production workers, including machinists & operator. Conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, and monitor team performance.

Process Optimization : Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.

Quality Control : Ensure all cabinets meet quality specifications and client requirements. Work closely with the QC team to address defects and root cause.

Safety & Health : Enforce workplace safety regulations and ensure team compliance. Conduct regular safety checks and trainings.

Inventory & Equipment : Monitor material usage, request necessary raw material with store keeper and coordinate with procurement staff for reordering. Ensure machines are well maintained and report malfunctions.

Reporting & Documentation : Track production output, downtime, defects and provide daily, weekly & monthly reports to the operation manager.

Requirements :

Diploma in Cabinet Making or Manufacturing, or any related field

At least 2 year experience in cabinet manufacturing as production supervisor

Strong understanding of cabinet manufacturing machinery (CNC, panel saws, edge banding, side drilling etc.)

Team leadership and conflict resolution skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools

Experience in production planning tools or ERP software is and added advantage

Pay : RM2, RM2,800.00 per month
