Job Summary : Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain payroll records, calculate deductions and tax withholdings, and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Collect and verify employee time and payroll data (hours, overtime, bonuses, deductions).
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule (e.g., pay runs, pay statements, direct deposits).
- Maintain and reconcile payroll records, spreadsheets, and general ledger data.
- Handle inquiries from employees or supervisors regarding pay-related issues.
- Prepare reports for finance, management, and auditors.
- Stay up to date on local tax and wage laws and ensure compliance.
- Support year-end processing and associated documentation (e.g., tax forms).
