A global EMS & mechatronics provider is hiring an SMT Manager for its Johor Bahru plant. Ideal for experienced leaders from Penang or other states ready to take on a key role managing SMT operations in a high-mix PCBA environment. Support for relocation and bonus buyout is available for shortlisted candidates.

RM16,000 – RM22,000 basic salary + allowances + performance bonus

Core Responsibilities :

Manage SMT production, processes, and team performance

Lead printing, placement, reflow, AOI / ICT inspection operations

Troubleshoot and resolve yield, machine, or quality issues

Work closely with NPI, engineering, and QA to support smooth ramp-ups

Drive defect reduction, OEE improvement, and process stability

Ensure compliance with IPC, ISO, ESD, and internal audit requirements

Oversee team scheduling, training, and performance development

Requirements :

Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering

5+ years in SMT production or engineering, with team leadership experience

Experience with high-mix, mid-volume EMS is preferred

Strong in SMT equipment (Yamaha, ASM, etc.), process control, and people management

Familiarity with IPC, ESD, and ISO 9001 standards

Able to relocate to Johor Bahru (relocation support available)
