Our client "PETROSAINS SDN BHD" is seeking a Director, Learning & Satellite Centre to join their team

Are you passionate about STEM education and ready to lead innovative learning initiatives? This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of science education in Malaysia, driving strategic growth and impact across multiple platforms and centers.

What you'll be doing?

Strategic Innovation : Develop and implement cutting-edge STEM learning strategies, positioning Petrosains as a national leader in science education.
Satellite Centre Excellence : Champion the growth of Satellite Centers as key STEM hubs, ensuring operational excellence and community engagement.
Program Impact : Direct the delivery and improvement of STEM programs, using data analytics to maximize educational outcomes.
Performance Management : Spearhead departmental strategy, set KPIs, and monitor financial and operational performance for sustainable growth.
Product Development : Drive R&D for innovative STEM learning products and solutions to meet market demands and support revenue growth.
Stakeholder Relations : Enhance partnerships with government agencies, educational institutions, and industry leaders to amplify Petrosains' social impact.
Strategic Partnerships : Develop collaboration strategies with various sectors to maximize Petrosains' reach and value through sponsorships and programmatic support.
Operational Oversight : Ensure adherence to HSE policies and governance standards, maintaining Petrosains' reputation and integrity.

Who are they looking for?

Educational Background : A Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Science Communication, Education, or related field, with a Master's or PhD being highly advantageous.

Relevant Experience : At least 15 years of experience in education-related positions, preferably in informal education environments.

STEM Expertise : Demonstrated knowledge in STEM education, experiential learning, and technology integration.

Communication Skills : Highly competent in science communication, able to represent Petrosains effectively in various settings.

Leadership Abilities : Strong management skills with critical thinking, creativity, and the ability to adapt to changing environments.

Strategic Vision : Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a talent for driving innovation and responding to market demands.

Operational Know-how : Experience in managing large-scale education or outreach operations across multiple sites.

Financial Acumen : Solid understanding of budgeting and resource optimization to balance educational impact with sustainability.

Stakeholder Management : Ability to engage credibly with various partners and build trust at leadership levels.

Cultural Awareness : Sensitivity to Malaysia's diverse cultural contexts in both East and West.
