Overview

We’re Hiring : Finance Manager – Malaysia (On-site)

Location : Nilai, Seremban, Malaysia

Company : Girbau Southeast Asia – Global Leader in Laundry Solutions

We are looking for a Finance Manager with a strong finance background to join our growing team in Southeast Asia and support the deployment of financial activities across the region .

This is not a purely coordination role – we need someone who understands how finance works , can analyze and act , and is ready to intervene when something fails . You’ll play a key role in establishing a solid financial structure for our expanding operations.

Your Main Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.
Prepare and present monthly financial reports and variance analyses.

Regional Support

Support finance activities across Malaysia & Southeast Asia, coordinating with local teams and external partners.

Implement financial controls and best practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Provide insights and guidance to management for strategic decision-making.

Process Improvement & Risk Management

Identify financial risks and implement corrective actions.

Streamline processes for better transparency and cost efficiency.

Support system implementations and ensure financial data integrity.

What We’re Looking For

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (professional certifications like ACCA or CPA are a plus).

3–5 years of experience in financial management or regional finance roles.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles , financial analysis , and reporting standards .

Hands-on mindset with the ability to solve problems , not just report them.

Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Strong communication skills and ability to work across cultures.

Fluent in English ; additional Southeast Asian languages a plus.
