2 years with 2 rotations to provide hands-on experience and exposure to different aspects of bp’s business. Includes development opportunities to build technical and universal skills, and signature engagements (e.g., bpChallenge). Early Careers Experience at bp : One Digital is an early careers program built to develop a strong pipeline of diverse digital talent, joining a global digital community and gaining cross-disciplinary experience. About the discipline : Information security

The team drives the design and delivery of security services to protect bp against threats and attacks. Responsibilities include helping teams understand cyber risk and take ownership of cyber security, with global vendors often engaging with us. Roles include : Information security Governance, risk and compliance Operational security management Information security engineering Role and responsibilities

This role will be part of the Information Security discipline and, during the early careers programme, you will be placed in different roles within this discipline as part of a rotation process. Core information security specialists build customer trust and empower businesses to understand cyber threats, identify vulnerabilities and manage cyber risks. Creating global policy, enabling bp to meet regulatory requirements and advising on group cyber risk management are essential in the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) group. In operational security management, you’ll experience opportunities to design, deliver, and manage critical operational security systems, supporting 24x7 incident response with automation, analytics, and tooling. Information security engineering offers opportunities to design and implement controls to ensure technology products and services are secure by design. Requirements

To apply for this role, you will preferably need a 3.2 CGPA and above, or equivalent, ideally focused on Information security (digital Security will be considered). You’ll also need to be in your final year of study or have completed your degree. Analytical and logical with a passion for solving security problems and enabling safe operations; enjoy exploring new technologies and challenging cyber threats. Understanding of modern development methodologies (Agile using Scrum and / or Kanban) with real-world experience in automation using Python or other high-level languages. Even if new to coding, demonstrate the ability to rapidly explore new technologies. Soft skills : good communication, continuous learning mindset, and being an empathetic, curious, creative & inclusive team player. Candidates that can join on 3 August 2026 only will be considered.
