Role Purpose(s)
Responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise applications under the TradeWeb and ECO product suite.
Delivery of robust, scalable, and secure software solutions aligned with business requirements and technical standards.
Collaborate with team members, business analysts, and product owners to implement new features, resolve issues, and continuously improve system performance and maintainability.
Key Accountabilities
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure high‑quality, maintainable, and efficient code aligned with established coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver business enhancements and technical improvements for TradeWeb and ECO systems.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high system reliability.
- Support continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring activities to maintain application stability.
- Contribute to process and technical improvements, including modernization efforts and adoption of newer frameworks or technologies.
- Demonstrate strong ownership of assigned modules and accountability for timely, quality deliverables.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and sprint reviews to ensure transparency and collaboration.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
Software Design and Development
Develop and maintain Java‑based applications and APIs.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.Design and implement scalable and reusable components.Work with frameworks such as Spring Boot , Hibernate / JPA , or Jakarta EE .Requirements and Technical Analysis
Collaborate with business analysts or product owners to understand functional and non‑functional requirements.Translate requirements into technical specifications.Participate in system design discussions and propose technical solutions.Testing and Quality Assurance
Perform unit test, integration and system testing.Troubleshoot and debug production issues effectively.Deployment and Maintenance
Support deployment activities and application monitoring.Investigate and resolve performance issues and production incidents.Maintain and update application documentation.Collaboration and Communication
Work collaboratively within an Agile / Scrum team environment.Communicate effectively with teammates, QA engineers, and business users.Contribute to sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and demos.Business InsightCustomer FocusDecision QualityInterpersonal SavvyEducation Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science , Information Technology , Software Engineering , or a related discipline.Working Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 years working experience in IT industry (preferably in related domain).Skills Required
Must-have skills
