Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and reporting of financial results of R&S businesses.
  • Supporting financial planning, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Analyzing costs, capital expenditures, and operational expenses, and providing insights on budget variances for various businesses.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and business leaders to align financial plans with the company's strategic goals.
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics against budgets and forecasts.
  • Support decision-making by providing financial analysis and producing management reports.
  • Assisting in month-end, quarter-end financial and year-end reporting activities.
  • Be the go-to person for new report generation.
  • Create new reports and maintain existing Excel reports for business performance reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, as well as external regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in implementing compliance programs such as monitoring adherence, audit processes, addressing concerns and risk management.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Superior.

Qualifications

  • Member of a recognized professional accounting body (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, MICPA, etc.) or degree from a recognized university in Finance and Accounting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis and managing accounts closing procedures.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Excellent skills in Excel. Prior experience with Power Pivot, Power Query and Power BI is a must.
  • Knowledge in SAP FICO is an added advantage.
  • Good attention to detail and excellent analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with both finance and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Responsible, self-driven and independent.
