About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Engineer / Coordinator (M&E) to join our project team for large-scale Data Centre construction projects . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) BIM models, ensuring design integrity, clash detection, and compliance with project standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the development of M&E BIM models for Data Centre projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with client and company standards.
  • Lead and support M&E BIM coordination meetings, identifying clashes and driving resolution with consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
  • Review and validate models, shop drawings, and construction documents to ensure alignment with project specifications and design intent.
  • Collaborate closely with design consultants, engineers, and site teams to provide BIM-related technical support during design and construction stages.
  • Maintain BIM execution plans, model standards, and documentation processes in line with company BIM protocols.
  • Conduct clash detection, model audits, and quality checks to ensure model integrity and construction readiness.
  • Support digital construction initiatives, 4D / 5D simulations, and integration with project scheduling and cost control teams when required.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to project teams and subcontractors on BIM-related requirements and workflows.
  • Ensure all M&E BIM deliverables are produced and submitted on time according to project milestones.

Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM coordination, with at least 2–3 years in Data Centre or other mission-critical projects preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E services, construction methodologies, and data centre design requirements.
  • Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 (or similar platforms) .
  • Familiar with international BIM standards and ISO 19650 compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage coordination between multiple trades in complex projects.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver within project timelines.
