Job Description

Our client is a leading multinational organisation with operations in over 130 countries, is setting up a brand-new Global Service Centre (GSC) in Kuala Lumpur. They are seeking a Finance Assistant Manager to their new center which will become a key hub for finance and shared services, supporting business operations worldwide.

Location : Kuala Lumpur

Salary : RM8,000

Key Responsibilities :

Review, check, and process vendor payments and employee reimbursements in line with policies and timelines.

Manage vendor reconciliations and resolve Accounts Payable queries.

Liaise with banks for transactions, queries, and statements.

Conduct GL reviews, ensuring accurate Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations.

Support statutory, tax, gratuity trust, and FRP audits.

Oversee fixed asset verification and adjustments under proper approvals.

Prepare MIS, adhoc reports, and cash flow statements.

Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to a growing team within the new SSC.

Requirements

1–3 years of finance / accounting experience in AP, GL, and reporting.

A degree in Finance / Accounting from a reputed university.

Good knowledge of taxation and insurance matters.

Strong MS Office proficiency and fluency in English.

A proactive approach with the ability to manage vendors, solve problems, and drive improvements.
