You will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, while meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations.

The Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and economical operation of the Engineering Department, supporting all other operating departments, supplying services as required, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimal condition.

Qualifications

• Ideally with a University Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and / or Building Management.
• Minimum 3 years work experience as Engineering Manager in a larger operation.
• Technical knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration systems, fire main systems, sprinklers, water / waste treatment, or hydraulics is advantageous.
• Good problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Possess B0 Chargeman certification from Suruhanjaya Tenaga is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English is required; knowledge of a second language is helpful.
• Due to Malaysian Immigration and Manpower regulations, this position is open to Malaysian Nationals only.
