About the role

Rider Hub Motor (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and driven Accountant to join our dynamic team in Ipoh, Perak. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organisation. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Generating financial statements, reports, and analyses to support management decision-making
Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business operations
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient accounting practices

What we're looking for

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

At least 3 years of experience in a similar Accountant role, preferably in the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry

Proficient in the use of accounting software and tools, such as SQL systems and spreadsheet applications

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders

A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach to work

Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations
