DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (Malaysia)

TechTiera Corporation is looking for an experienced DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure on GCP using Terraform and GKE.
  • Develop and optimize systems for ultra‑low latency and real‑time transaction processing.
  • Implement autoscaling, high availability, and fault‑tolerance for backend and odds‑engine systems.
  • Set up robust CI / CD pipelines for automated deployment and delivery.
  • Build observability stacks for performance monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
  • Act as a cost guardian, optimizing cloud resource usage and infrastructure spend.
  • Collaborate with backend and platform teams to ensure reliable and secure deployments.
  • Drive incident response, post‑mortems, and performance tuning for production systems.
  • Contribute to internal tools and automation using Go and shell scripting.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in software development, including scripting and automation (e.g., Go or Python).
  • Knowledge of system administration and effective server‑environment management.
  • Understanding of infrastructure architecture and experience with cloud‑based and on‑premises solutions.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or similar technologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GCP.

    Compensation

    MYR 72,000.00 – MYR 150,000.00 per annum (commensurate with experience).

    Employment Type

    Full‑time, Mid‑Senior level.
