We are currently seeking a TS - Senior Planning Engineer / Planning Engineer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur. Successful candidates would be offered a fixed term of employment.

Responsibilities
- Define project objectives in terms of duration and resources, pilot the project status and ensure forecast reliability and successful completion.
- Develop a schedule compliant with the selected execution strategy.
- Plan to mitigate risks.
- Define and optimize the necessary resources (E-P-C-I).
- Define the planning & scheduling system (methods, procedures, time‑schedules, physical progress, dashboards, etc).
- Conduct contract review and advise the management on contractual qualifications.
- Define realistic and feasible contract duration for execution for the management, the proposal manager and the estimation department.
- Develop, update and maintain project planning & scheduling systems (methods, procedures, time‑schedules, physical progress, dashboards, etc).
- Define the project breakdown structures.
- Plan to ensure the work fronts at site and timely deliveries.
- Get client approval of progress claimed or milestone achievement to enable invoicing.
- Increase project team members' awareness of the project milestones, main durations and critical paths.
- Monitor and control project status to detect any delay and propose corrective actions to mitigate risks and prevent any delay when assigned.
- Anticipate opportunities for extension of time.
- Provide project feedback and lessons learned to improve planning & scheduling methods and supply input to the statistics of the planning department.
- Manage a team of planning executives or engineers primarily on medium‑ and large‑size EPC projects.
- Operate P6 / MSP / MS Excel with strong competency.
- Knowledge of office 365 tools for efficient work collaboration.
- Knowledge of PowerBI for digital reporting.
- Knowledge of 4D planning.
- Knowledge of advanced planning tools (Acumen Fuse, OPRA, etc.).
Qualifications
Degree in engineering or a related field with confirmed and relevant experience in project execution.5+ years of experience in oil & gas planning and scheduling.Management capabilities.Deep knowledge of scheduling computer tools.Deep knowledge in E, P, C, I work processes.Knowledge of schedule risk analyses.Career Development
