What You'll Do

  • Lead large and complex project teams and programs, focused on Avanade direct opportunities.
  • Manage risk, provide strategic direction, and align stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Scale up the country’s resources across Avanade Practices with diversified Microsoft Solutions.
  • Mentor team members, manage supplier relationships, and drive business value through effective solution planning.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with C-suite level customers.
  • Engage in sales pursuits, explore opportunities through customer dialogue.
  • Foster growth through Solution Area channel development and partnerships.
  • Oversee Project Work Plans, approve estimates, and ensure alignment of resources.
  • Manage risks, gain senior management support, and address stakeholder goals.
  • Provide strategic direction for change management and own project integration.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a Digital / Innovation Hub in Malaysia serving the APAC region.
  • Deliver client-centric value by leveraging Microsoft technologies and AI-driven innovation.
  • Build industry-specific solutions via a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Dynamics 365 and AI.
  • Scale to 100+ professionals with deep technical expertise and business consulting capability across Avanade Practices in Malaysia serving the APAC region.
  • Lead diversified projects within Microsoft Solutions, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365, Microsoft Power Platforms, Microsoft Dynamics ERP, Azure Data & AI, Generative AI / Machine Learning, Azure Cloud, Applications & Infra, Cybersecurity, among others across APAC.
  • Evaluate partners, optimize team contributions, and align with business objectives.
  • Provide strategic direction for change management and project integration.

    • Qualifications

  • Min 12 years total working experience, preferably in Technology Consulting.
  • Experience contributing to the growth of Delivery / Innovation Hub, scaling resources +100 professionals across different Practices / Business Units.
  • Proven experience managing large, high-risk projects to achieve customer business goals, preferably in Systems Integration and Technology Consulting.
  • Technology Versatile – Cloud / Cybersecurity / Data-AI / CRM / ERP / Infra etc.
  • Experience with Onshore / Offshore management.
  • Experienced hands-on and as a core delivery professional.
  • Experience managing a substantial IT project deal size.
  • Good ability to manage conversations of contracts / deals with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with C-suite level customers.
  • Advanced financial management understanding related to projects and programs.
  • Proficiency in risk management.
  • Deep understanding and application of various delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working in a system implementation environment.
