Penerangan pekerjaanSpearhead the technical design and architecture planning for Enterprise Middleware systems and associated technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and adherence to industry best practices. Execute the construction and implementation of resilient infrastructure setups, leveraging deep knowledge of Enterprise Middleware systems to achieve unparalleled levels of availability, reliability, and performance. Conduct configuration and performance tuning of Enterprise Middleware systems, optimizing resource utilization to ensure peak system performance. Develop and maintain exhaustive technical documentation, encompassing system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices. Act as the primary technical resource for intricate troubleshooting and analysis, resolving escalated technical issues and guiding the engineering team. Manage incidents, devise mitigating strategies, assess damage, and recommend short and long-term corrective measures. Ensure that Enterprise Middleware systems are available at least 99.96% of the time (or according to defined SLA / OLA). Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to integrate Enterprise Middleware systems seamlessly into the overarching IT infrastructure. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to Enterprise Middleware systems, providing informed recommendations for continuous improvement. Lead and mentor a team of Engineers, instilling a culture of knowledge sharing, skill development, and technical excellence. Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and training programs to elevate the technical proficiency of the team. Contribute to strategic planning for IT infrastructure projects, offering key technical insights and recommendations. Manage technical IT infrastructure projects with minimal supervision and collaborate with different application and infrastructure teams to deliver within project timelines. Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements across all aspects of Enterprise Middleware systems management. Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements and internal and external system evaluation criteria, making certain that all operational activities adhere to RHB Group’s IT framework, policy, guideline, manual, transformation, and strategy. Ensure strict adherence to Group frameworks, policies, guidelines, and manuals, including but not limited to : IT Asset Obsolescence Management Lifecycle IT Asset Capacity Management Lifecycle IT Asset Management Lifecycle Patch Management Lifecycle Drive technology improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency enhancement. Participate actively in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and solutions to enhance the Group’s IT capabilities. Collaborate with vendors to assess new products, features, and updates related Enterprise Middleware systems, making informed recommendations for adoption. Implement and enforce technical standards and best practices in the Enterprise Middleware systems environment. Play a pivotal role in the successful execution of strategic IT projects, ensuring technical alignment with Group’s objectives. Take ownership of the technical lead role in the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Enterprise Middleware systems. Oversee the implementation and administration support of IT systems and platforms for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and time savings. Support and maintain High Availability / Clustering / Power HA / MQ Cluster Solutions : Enterprise Middleware systems and related technologies. Participate in managing "On-Call" and onsite support for off-hours and weekend activities. Analyze Performance Monitoring tools and collaborate with other parties to resolve application performance issues and restore acceptable customer experience in the usage of the application. Plan for capacity & obsolescence and patch management to improve IT service and plan for short, medium, and long-term business requirements. Provide regular reports and updates on the performance, availability, and health of Enterprise Middleware systems to relevant stakeholders.
Primary Objectives
- Accountable and responsible for providing subject matter expertise in Enterprise Middleware systems (includes IBM WebSphere MQ messaging infrastructure / Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), WAS, JBoss EAP, Weblogic and others middleware solutions) associated technologies ensuring the meticulous design, implementation, and optimization of resilient Enterprise Middleware systems infrastructure setups across RHB Group's diverse entities (Bank, Islamic, Insurance, Investment Bank, and Regional Country).
- Function as the key Technical Lead, collaborating with the Section Head on the administration, strategic planning, project management, implementation, and support of the Group's Enterprise Middleware systems and services, ensuring the continual availability of all systems with online uptime maintained within agreed SLA / OLA parameters.
- Conduct thorough reviews and enact enhancements to the technical architecture and design of Enterprise Middleware systems, proactively identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings, and elevations in service quality.
