Talented & Experienced Sous - Chef, is wanted to join our team at Yellow Beach Cafe, Langkawi.
Supporting our head Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations.
What you'll be doing
Assisting the Head Chef in the overall management and organisation of the kitchen, including staff supervision, scheduling, and task delegation
Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop and execute innovative menu items that showcase the best of local and international cuisines
Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency across all dishes
Overseeing the procurement, storage, and inventory management of kitchen supplies and ingredients
Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment within the kitchen team
Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry
Formal culinary training or a degree in Culinary Arts or a related field
Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu planning, and cost control
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a kitchen team
Proficient in food safety and hygiene practices, as well as compliance with local regulations
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
