Application Support Analyst (ServiceNow)
Deliver reliable ICT solutions and provide efficient support and maintenance services for information accessibility, business operations efficiency, and increased organizational productivity that contributes to the company’s IT strategy and roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Provide IT support and maintenance services by responding to and resolving reported incidents to meet stakeholders' expectations and agreed SLA. Perform problem root cause analysis, develop resolution steps for common problems, and recommend improvements for preventive measures.
- Assist the Support Manager in change management, system enhancements, and program fixes that cover the lifecycle phases from requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and deployment while adhering to the company’s IT policies and procedures.
- Ensure continuous availability of applications by conducting application maintenance services such as health checks, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and patching. Improve application maintenance through impact analysis, system testing, and recommendation of approved changes.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Cloud Services teams and service providers throughout problem resolution and monitor the problem resolution activities.
- Continuously keep abreast with technology developments to enable optimization of the company's IT infrastructure and applications, improving IT solution delivery to business users.
- Provide value-added IT advisory and consultancy services to stakeholders by understanding their business areas, anticipating needs, and improving user awareness and productivity through regular ICT technology updates and knowledge sharing.
- Undertake continuous systems and process improvements by benchmarking against standards, adopting best practices, and ensuring alignment with stakeholders' expectations.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (CGPA 3.0 and above).Minimum of 3 years' experience in ITSM processes, especially in automating discovery for IT asset inventory (hardware & software) via cloud tools.Strong technical knowledge on IT Service Management, latest technology, and ITIL practices, including business or system impact analysis, Service Request, Incident, Problem, Change and deployment, and configuration and inventory management.Seniority Level
