Role Description
The Manager, Product (Commercial Vehicle) will be responsible for overseeing product planning, development, and launch activities for commercial vehicles. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product lifecycle management. Key responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing competitors, developing pricing strategies, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives. The role also entails managing marketing campaigns, sales forecasting, and providing training to sales teams to drive overall product success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product planning, development, and launch processes for commercial vehicles.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to manage the full product lifecycle.
- Drive marketing campaigns and ensure effective product positioning.
- Oversee sales forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide product training and support to sales teams to enhance effectiveness.
- Monitor product performance and recommend improvements to achieve business targets.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in product planning, development, and launch within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry.Strong knowledge of market research, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies .Experience in managing marketing campaigns and sales forecasting .Ability to train and support sales teams effectively.Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills .Relevant automotive industry background is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or a related field .Proficiency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is preferred , due to the need to liaise with Mandarin-speaking principals and stakeholders.#J-18808-Ljbffr
