About the Role
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams globally and within APAC, especially with the FP&A Analyst team based in Malaysia. Provide financial insights and recommendations, contribute to strategic decision‑making, and support budgeting and forecasting. The role requires deep financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Consolidation and analysis of management reporting for the APAC region, including pitch generation for senior leadership and coordination of weekly sales review processes.
- Key liaison with Global Reporting and Analysis teams and related functions such as HR, Legal, Finance, MLex, RTIS, and GTO.
- Share best practices, templates, and guidance with Finance Directors, the FP&A Operations Director APAC, and the FP&A Analyst team.
- Challenging local business units on revenue, cost, workforce, and capital tracking and reporting; provide commentary on variances and ad‑hoc analysis.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including variance, trend, and forecasting, to provide insights on revenue, costs, and capital.Collaborate with local stakeholders, particularly sales, to develop accurate budgets and forecasts.Provide strategic decision support through financial insights, recommendations, and scenario analysis.Prepare regular and ad‑hoc management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes, tools, and methodologies; lead automation initiatives.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and senior management to influence decision‑making and drive performance.Requirements
Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling.Solid understanding of accounting principles.Proficiency in financial software applications, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel skills.Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking abilities.Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex concepts to non‑financial stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced matrix environment.Benefits
