Equipment Technician

Responsibilities : Provide technical support and assist with equipment handling, setup, and testing. Liaise with equipment vendor technical teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and integration points. Oversee the safe transport and installation of the equipment at the designated facility. Perform setup procedures to prepare the equipment for operational testing. Execute qualification tests to confirm the equipment performs according to defined specifications in its operating environment. Address any issues or discrepancies identified during testing, making necessary adjustments to ensure compliance and performance standards are met. Contract Details : 1 year Contract under FairWork with the options to extend an additional 24 months subject to mutual agreement. Requirements : Proven experience in similar projects, with references. Candidate should possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline. At least 1 year of experience in equipment or plant facility maintenance. Office Hours : Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
