Manage a team of supply chain analysts in organizing and executing the procurement activities with the objective of achieving the most competitive price and effective supply chain for the organization.
- Manage supplier base to ensure quality level, cost improvement and supply efficiency.
- Coordinate with selected manufacturing sites to organize supply chain efficiency.
- Develop strategies in conjunction with the goals assigned by the organization.
- Assist in the establishment and implementation of department policies and procedures.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Support program and customer to achieve time to market requirement.
- Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, commodity team and supplier development engineers to identify and qualify new suppliers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Materials / Supply Chain Management or equivalent.Min 5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager, in an EMS or Manufacturing environment.Familiar with MRP systems, preferably Baan.Experience in handling electronics / electro-mechanical components.Effective analytical, planning and organizational skills.Effective interpersonal skills with employees and customers.Strong financial understanding, risk analysis ability, relationship-building and project management.Able to independently drive solutions to complex planning issues with limited supervisionSeniority level
