Essential Functions

  • Oversee income tax accounting for the APAC region.
  • Manage new tax developments, including Pillar 2 implementation, tax administration, and filings.
  • Handle withholding tax filings and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Handle tax e-compliance projects, if any.
  • Implement best practices, standards, and processes in tax operations.
  • Collaborate with finance leaders, business partners, and tax teams across APAC.
  • Support training, coaching, and knowledge-sharing within the CoE.
  • Track performance, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure data accuracy.

You will be a great fit if you

  • 5–7 years in finance / accounting, including 2–3 years in leadership or managerial roles.
  • MNC experience, preferably with a US headquarters, and exposure to income tax accounting across multiple APAC countries.
  • Strong expertise in tax accounting (GAAP-focused); practical experience with Pillar 2 initiatives preferred.
  • Knowledge of APAC tax regulations, filings, and compliance.
  • Experience driving process improvement and operational excellence in tax operations.
  • Leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Finance / ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
