Pharmacy Purchasing Assistant

Job Description

• Ensure sufficient stocks are procured on timely basis to meet customer and hospital needs.
• Assist in timely issuance of purchase order, follow up for approval and submission to vendor.
• Monitor closely for on-time delivery and liaise with vendor to ensure prompt supply. Assist in maintenance of reports for tracking purposes.
• Assist in sourcing activities by continuously maintaining database of hospital inventory and alternatives by contacting current vendors, other hospitals, other hospitals, other subsidiaries or local market.
• Assist in end-user and vendor close collaboration on customization of items according to end-user's specifications where necessary.
• Assist in compilation of vendor registration documents for vendor registration and / or updates in vendor information.
