This job is for a Quote Analyst who creates and tracks product quotes for customers. You might like this job because you enjoy problem-solving and collaborating with teams to meet customers' needs while ensuring accurate pricing and delivery details.
- Prepare quotes to the sales / agents / customers; follow-up accordingly.
- Quote product prices, delivery specifications, and payment terms, and offer substitute products where appropriate (supported by Sales).
- Utilize senior-level and customer engineering knowledge to make judgment and discretionary decisions on product specifications, applications, and pricing for specific projects. Work proactively with the Customer Solution division (engineers, order management, claims) and customers to meet their changing needs and resolve issues.
- Work closely with Sales Support - Order Management to convert quotations into orders.
- Ensure all paperwork is in place upon acceptance of a proposal / quotation and transfer all required information to Sales Support - Order Management.
- Jointly responsible with Sales Support - Order Management for quotation updates, CAD drawings, order or project changes, and ensuring updated quotations are available.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Article Management, and Purchasing for Special Products (SAN systems).
- Use CRM daily to update quotation statuses, customer profiles, and business development activities.
- Prepare quotation reports and other documentation for relevant departments.
- Provide responsive, quality service to customers, and participate in analyzing and acting upon customer feedback related to pricing, products, and procedures.
- Support purchasing functions, market research, product evaluations, inventory management, and pricing development as needed, collaborating between Order Management and Purchase divisions.
- Participate in sales meetings, workshops, product meetings, internal department meetings, customer solution meetings, and training sessions to enhance knowledge.
- Assist with administrative duties related to sales and projects as assigned.
- Prepare sales contracts as needed.
- Maintain electronic and hard copy files according to company guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, demonstrating teamwork at all times.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
