Overview
Role Description : Apply electrical and mechanical engineering principles to develop professional, cost-effective designs as part of a team with support from Designer-III and Lead.
Responsibilities
Development of 2D wire harness drawings conforming with customer requirements and industrial drafting standards
Use design of hardware fixation components such as brackets, clips, and mounting points using 3D modellingDevelopment of wire harness routing designs in 3D to ensure secure routing to connectorsCreate and understand schematic drawingsMechanicalHydraulic Design : Design of hydraulic systems; selection of hydraulic components and fittings and hydraulic routings using Pro-E Wildfire
Structural Design : Design of structural members, castings and weld fabricationsWeld Design : Design of welding, structural componentsVehicle Integration and Assembly : Contribute to Mechanical or Electrical integration as part of Vehicle integration and assemblyFEA : Understand and apply Finite Element Analysis in Mechanical designMeasures Of Outcomes

Understand the design requirements : sheet metal design guidelines, stack-up analysis, weldment mining design guidelines, casting knowledge, and large assembly managementErrors

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline3+ years of experience in power test for server, storage, or network productsHands-on ability to solder with a soldering ironStrong skills in using test equipment such as electrical load, power supply, oscilloscopes, voltage / current probes, loop analyzers, etc.Familiarity with electrical components such as inductors, MOSFETs, and capacitorsKnowledge of DC / DC topology and experience in testing power supplies, power bricks, or onboard DC / DC is preferredWorking knowledge of power supply topologies and commonly used partsExperience with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, PMBus, etc.)Strong verbal and written communication skillsLocation : Penang, Malaysia
