Job Description
We are seeking a Claims Officer to join our team in the Motor Claim department.
- As a Claims Officer, you will be responsible for the creation and registration of claims.
- The role involves examining and assessing of assigned claims, providing recommendations for decision and / or approval for offers, and managing the payment process from initiation to eventual authorization of payments.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that claims activities are managed promptly, professionally and in compliance to operating guidelines, including internal Claims SOP, as well as the claims procedures, processes, and turnaround times stipulated by BNM and PIAM.
Responsibilities
Ensure timely acknowledgment and processing of all received claims notifications and submissions, with claims accurately registered and appropriate reserves allocated.Facilitate the initiation of payments within five working days of receiving a request.Address and resolve claims-related inquiries and complaints promptly and efficiently.Promote effective communication with all stakeholders, including policyholders, agents, marketers, and branches, to enhance efficiency and address concerns collaboratively.Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in claims processing, customer service, or similar administrative roles.Strong attention to details and effective time management abilities.Able to work cross-functionally, adapt to process improvement, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.Proficient in both verbal and written communication.#J-18808-Ljbffr
