Job Description
- Full-Time Role (Key Job Segments : Branding, Marketing, and Sales).
- Office based in Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia.
- Responsible for managing social media pages for hospitality-related companies, including hotels and BNBs, ensuring brand visibility and engagement.
- Oversee property listings on various Online Travel Agency (OTA) platforms such as Airbnb, , Agoda, and Expedia, ensuring accurate listings and managing pricing strategies.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies using digital management software like IDB and Sta-ah.
- Create and design digital content using tools like Canva and Adobe to enhance marketing and branding efforts.
- Travel between hotels and serviced apartments in Penang as required to ensure smooth operational oversight.
- Communicate effectively with both internal staff and hotel guests, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Design and conduct training sessions for internal staff on topics related to marketing, branding, and customer service.
- Handle sales inquiries, ensuring prompt responses and resolution of guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with courtesy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience.
- Create professional pitch decks using Canva, Google Slides, or PowerPoint to support business development initiatives.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies aimed at acquiring new business assets and expanding the company's portfolio.
Job Requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both internal teams and external clients.Strong customer service orientation, ensuring guest satisfaction and timely resolution of inquiries or issues.Proven ability to drive sales and meet targets within a competitive environment.Experience in marketing and brand promotion, with a demonstrated understanding of branding strategies.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Knowledge of the hospitality industry is a plus, especially experience working with hotels or serviced apartments.A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.Fluent in English, Malay, and Mandarin is an advantage (good to have).Competent in using WhatsApp, OTA apps, and hotel management system apps (good to have).A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing or related roles.At least 1 year of experience with digital marketing platforms, including Social Media Ads, Google Ads, and Website Management.Experience using OTA platforms such as Extranet, Airbnb, Agoda, and Expedia.Proficient in creating digital content using tools like Canva, Adobe, or Photoshop.Demonstrates high integrity, is responsible, independent, honest, and hardworking in all aspects of work.Job Type : Full-time
