Overview

Join to apply for the Asia Pacific Senior Legal Counsel role at CSG. The successful candidate would be joining a growing international legal team to assist in the continued expansion of the business across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiation and drafting of international commercial contracts including master service agreements for SaaS delivery or on-premises license agreements and associated delivery contracts, as well as supply / purchase / distribution / reseller arrangements in line with commercial objectives and targets, and related amendments.
  • Responding to client requests for proposals.
  • Daily advice and interaction with business units (technical and sales) on all legal aspects of project delivery, both new and in-flight.
  • Escalation of work items to regional legal team leads and, where needed, close collaboration with the global privacy and compliance team on relevant matters.
  • Review and maintenance of precedent terms and market-standard approaches for common deal types in the international business.
  • Provide advice on employment matters and liaise with HR business partners and external counsel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education : Must hold a current legal practicing certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience : Demonstrable experience of a minimum of 5 years in-house in a relevant sector, with a strong preference for supporting the sales organization.
  • Experience navigating and delivering on complex software or license contracts.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Excellent drafting and verbal skills in English; proven track record in face-to-face negotiations in complex IT transactions; pragmatic and commercial mindset; proactive and dynamic approach with a focus on enabling the business in a compliant manner; ability to build and maintain constructive working relationships; problem-solving skills aligned with CSG’s core competencies and values.
