Overview Financial Accountant (6-Month Contract | Maternity Cover) – Regional Scope : Australia & New Zealand. We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Financial Accountant who’s ready to dive into a regional role with an international finance team. If you enjoy working in a global environment and love making numbers tell the right story, this 6-month contract might be your perfect match.

What You’ll Be Doing

Take charge of month-end closing & group reporting for AU & NZ entities

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries

Manage SOX controls, lease accounting (IFRS 16) & fixed assets

Support revenue / COS analysis and FP&A reviews

Collaborate with a regional team that values precision, teamwork, and results

What You’ll Bring

A degree in Accounting / Finance (professional qualification = big plus)

Experience in MNC environments; AU or US-listed company exposure is a plus

Background in audit (Big Four experience a plus)

Familiarity with SOX, SAP, and HFM

Excellent communication skills in English – you’ll be working with regional stakeholders
