Overview
As a procurement executive, you will be the key person who is responsible for securing the necessary materials, equipment, and services for construction projects, ensuring they are cost-effective, timely, and meet project requirements , this include :
Work closely with project teams to identify procurement needs based on project schedules and budgets.
Plan and forecast procurement requirements for upcoming and ongoing projects.
Source and pre-qualify reliable vendors and subcontractors.
Maintain and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Request, evaluate, and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost savings and favorable terms.
Issue purchase orders (PO) in accordance with internal approval workflows.
Track and monitor PO status and coordinate delivery logistics with suppliers and project teams.
Ensure all procured materials and services comply with technical specifications and quality standards.
Adhere to relevant legal, regulatory, and safety standards in procurement processes.
Coordinate material deliveries to construction sites, minimizing delays and disruptions.
Work with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure proper storage and stock management.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, supplier correspondence, and PO documentation.
Generate regular reports on procurement activities, savings, and supplier performance.
