Role Title : Coordinator - Claims Service (Mandarin Speaker)

Industry : Insurance

Intake : September

Location : Q Sentral, Kuala Lumpur

Contract Period : 12 months

Working Hours : Monday - Friday, 9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM

Pay Range : RM4,000

Role Summary

The Coordinator - Claims Service will support MMC's regional shared services center in Kuala Lumpur, focusing on General Insurance claims processing and reporting. The role covers end-to-end claims handling, including adjudication, follow-ups with insurers / clients, data management, and report preparation. What to Expect

  • Be part of a regional shared service center supporting Hong Kong Region
  • Collaborate with diverse colleagues and stakeholders across MMC business lines

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and adjudicate General Insurance claims within required turnaround time
  • Monitor unsettled claims, liaise with insurers / clients, and prepare monthly claim reports
  • Perform data entry, verification, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Track claim status, generate reports, and update claim information in the system
  • Communicate with service providers via phone / email to gather supporting details
  • Process claim-related payments and assist with general administrative tasks

    • Requirements

  • Degree in any field, or Diploma with relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in Traditional / Simplified Chinese (reading and writing)
  • Experience in shared service operations or the insurance industry
  • Basic knowledge of General Insurance
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage, analyze, and summarize data effectively
