Job Description

• Group Financial Reporting : Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of the Group's monthly consolidated financial and management reports, including year-end financial statements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting : Manage and update annual budgets, prepare and review monthly management accounts, and provide full-year forecast predictions, actively identifying financial risks and opportunities.
• System and Process Improvement : Drive continuous improvement of the accounting system and enhance the company's financial reporting processes.
• Inter-departmental Coordination : Act as a key liaison with budget holders, fostering mutual understanding between finance and business operations.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure the Group adheres to all statutory obligations, including compliance with MFRS, tax acts, company acts, and Bursa Listing Requirements, working closely with auditors.
• Financial Analysis and Management : Conduct regular evaluation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to identify trends, manage inter-company transactions, and ensure proper recording of all financial activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Accountant should have :

• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data effectively.
