Job Description

We are a leading and rapidly growing provider of precision CNC machining services and industrial automation solutions. Our mission is to empower manufacturers with technology that enhances productivity, quality, and efficiency.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer or Sales Manager to join our team. Your primary role will be to develop new business opportunities and nurture existing relationships within the manufacturing sector. You will be the key technical advisor to our clients, understanding their production challenges and proposing our tailored CNC machining and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development : Proactively identify, qualify, and secure new sales opportunities within the manufacturing industry through cold calling, networking, and market research.
  • Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., Plant Managers, Production Engineers, Procurement Managers, Business Owners).
  • Technical Solution Selling : Understand client needs and technical requirements. Prepare and present compelling technical proposals and quotations for our CNC machining services (e.g., milling, turning) and automation systems (e.g., robotic arms, conveyor systems, custom machinery).
  • Market Intelligence : Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new technological advancements in machining and automation.
  • Achieve Sales Targets : Consistently meet or exceed agreed-upon quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Requirements

    Education & Professional Qualifications :

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or related field) is highly preferred.
  • Candidates with a Diploma / Degree in Business or Marketing but with strong technical sales experience in a related industry will be considered.
  • Experience & Skills :

  • Must Have : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical sales, industrial sales, or B2B sales, preferably within CNC machining, precision engineering, manufacturing equipment, or industrial automation.
  • Technically inclined with the ability to quickly understand and communicate complex engineering concepts.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin or other dialects is an advantage for dealing with specific client segments.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and possess a strong hunter mentality for new business.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel to meet clients nationwide.
