Job Responsibilities

  • Review consultant drawings to identify opportunities for value engineering, ensuring cost-effective and efficient project solutions.
  • Collaborate with consultants and contractors to monitor project progression, expedite drawings, and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Assess design, tender, and construction drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and alignment with the original design intent.
  • Work closely with other departments to keep time and cost plans updated, ensuring cohesive project management.
  • Provide expert technical support to resolve construction-related challenges, ensuring project standards and quality are maintained.
  • Implement and oversee quality assurance procedures to ensure all project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant local laws, building codes, and industry standards, maintaining high standards of safety and legality.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, integrating innovative solutions into project execution.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Experience : 4-5 years of experience in a consultant role within the civil and structural engineering field.

    • Skills and Competencies

  • Technical Proficiency : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering software.
  • Soft Skills : Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, consultants, and contractors.
  • Project Management : Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex engineering challenges and develop effective solutions.
