Audit Assistant (Junior)

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Audit Associate at SFAI MALAYSIA, you will be supporting the audit team in carrying out statutory audits and assurance engagements in compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards, while gaining practical experience and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Learning and conducting comprehensive audits of financial statements
• Documenting audit findings and assisting senior associates in preparing detailed reports for management and stakeholders
• Assist in identifying accounting, auditing, or internal control issues and bring them to the attention of senior team members.
• Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information and clarify audit queries.
• Support in drafting management letters and audit reports.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Audit Seniors, Supervisors, or Managers.
