Possess special skills in ultrasonography & is qualified with clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound scanner. Responsible for acquiring images for illnesses and injuries diagnosis.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for operating sonographic equipment independently
- Responsible for the daily operations of the sonographic room, patients' schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assurance (QA)
- Performs all requested sonographic examinations for patients in accordance with the orders by the attending Physicians
- Uses independent judgment during sonographic examination to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings
