Overview

Commercial Graduate Trainee, Southeast Asia at Henkel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This 18-month Commercial Graduate Program for Southeast Asia is a comprehensive career development initiative designed for ambitious graduates who aspire to excel in the commercial sector of the chemical industry.

What you’ll do

Participate in assignments across Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Application Engineering within different Strategic Business Units in your assigned country
Work with Henkel’s leading brands and technologies, collaborating with manufacturers across various industries
Engage directly with customers to explore their needs, address pain points, drive sustainable growth, and deliver outstanding customer experiences
Experience international exposure through potential cross-country rotations
Take ownership of impactful business projects that contribute to real commercial outcomes
Benefit from exclusive training programs, structured learning modules, and mentorship from experienced leaders

What makes you a good fit

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field

Up to 2 years of work experience, preferably in a multinational environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in diverse teams

Analytical mindset with a proactive, curious approach to problem-solving

Self-driven, resilient, and results-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility

Highly motivated, adaptable, and willing to travel across Southeast Asia as part of the program

Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional language skills are a plus

Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels
