This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Audit Senior to join the dynamic team at Chengco PLT, a respected accounting firm based in Ipoh, Perak. As an Audit Senior, you will play a crucial role in the company's external audit operations, contributing your expertise to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting for our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting comprehensive audits and reviews of financial statements and records for a range of clients across different industries
  • Identifying and analysing financial risks and irregularities, and providing recommendations to clients
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of the audit team, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to professional standards
  • Coordinating with clients to gather relevant information and documentation for audits
  • Preparing detailed audit reports and presentations for clients and management
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and standards, and incorporating them into audit procedures.

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in external audit, preferably in a public accounting firm
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex financial issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
  • Proficiency in the use of audit software and data analysis tools
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity.
