Overview
The Metal Detector Technician will be a member of the Metal Detector team, responsible for the assembly, testing, and quality assurance of our metal detection products. This role is essential for maintaining production schedules and upholding our stringent quality control standards. The technician will also provide technical support and troubleshooting for our products, ensuring operational continuity.
Responsibilities
- Assembly and Testing : Perform the full assembly and testing protocols for Metor, Satmagan, and Sub Assembly models. This includes following detailed schematics and procedures to ensure each unit meets design specifications.
- Quality Assurance : Prepare Metor units for comprehensive Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), ensuring all quality control checks are met before final dispatch.
- Troubleshooting and Support : Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for Metor products at the Wentel site. This involves diagnosing issues, implementing solutions, and documenting all repairs and maintenance activities.
- Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of all assembly, testing, and repair activities. Provide regular updates on work progress and challenges to the team lead.
Qualifications
Technical Expertise : Proven experience in a technical or manufacturing role, preferably with a background in electronics, mechanical assembly, or quality control.Product Knowledge : The ability to quickly gain comprehensive knowledge of our products, including Metor, Satmagan, and Sub Assembly models.Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.Attention to Detail : Meticulous approach to work, ensuring high levels of accuracy in all assembly, testing, and documentation tasks.Communication : Effective communication skills to provide clear updates and collaborate with team members, including the team lead and other technicians.Seniority level
