Job Responsibilities
- Leading & executing POCs on APIs, Microservices, and Cloud technologies for key optimization applications.
- Partnering closely with the business to develop, support, test and deploy new vendor and internally developed desktop / cloud web apps.
- Develop and drive modern application support best practices with maintainability, reliability, scalability, integration, monitoring, & automation improvements for core optimization applications.
- Partner with business and global customers on change management and support improvement activities.
- Improve reliability by implementing monitoring improvements and automate existing support processes.
- Evaluates design approaches, makes architectural recommendations, and implements improvements to testing strategies.
Primary Skill Set
Able to troubleshoot and debug system / application / data issues with vendors / IT teams.Familiar with Team Foundation Server (TFS), agile principles, INC / Ticket processes.Nice to Have Skill Set
Must be someone who is able and comfortable working with IT teams and business contacts globally.Able to communicate effectively as we have global users.Ability to facilitate problem solving in a group setting. Able to conduct both development and application support.Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills.Must have some technical skillset / willing to learn.Able to work on multiple apps concurrently with the priority set by Product Owner.Additional Requirements
Working hours : Regular working hours but needs to be flexible for occasional night meetings with global team or troubleshooting / debug with users (only if required).
