Quality Assurance (QA) Manager

About the Role

As a QA Manager with Trivo Electronics Sdn Bhd, you will play a key leadership role in establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the company's quality systems. This full-time position involves driving product quality excellence, ensuring compliance with industry standards including ISO9001 and IATF 16949, managing certification processes, and leading the QA team to support company growth and customer satisfaction.

Summary Description

  • Build, maintain, and improve quality management systems in compliance with ISO9001, IATF 16949, and product safety standards.
  • Lead the QA team to enhance product quality, manage certifications, and resolve customer quality concerns.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage team members to build a high-performing and capable QA function.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

1. Quality Systems

  • Ensure the company's quality management system and product safety certifications (ISO9001, IATF 16949, and others) operate effectively.
  • Review and verify procedures and policies, ensuring suitability and compliance.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, including customer, regulatory, and certification audits.
  • Lead the team to achieve and maintain new quality system certifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and optimize new processes.

    • 2. Product Quality

  • Supervise and monitor product quality performance, ensuring alignment with company standards and IATF requirements.
  • Engage with customers to collect feedback and address quality concerns promptly.

    • 3. Manpower Management

  • Recruit and develop suitable team members to support company growth.
  • Define KPIs for individuals and the QA team to measure performance and results.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

    • 4. Quality Objectives

  • Establish and monitor company-wide and departmental quality objectives.
  • Ensure objectives are met through systematic planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

    • What We're Looking For

  • Education : Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Quality Management or related fields.

    • Experience :

    Minimum 5 years of working experience in quality management.

  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Familiar with PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) manufacturing processes, IPC-610 and APQP / PPAP project development process.
  • Automotive industry experience is a strong plus.

    • Training & Knowledge :

    ISO9001 andIATF 16949 quality system certification knowledge is a must.

  • Strong understanding of TQM (Total Quality Management).
  • Solid background in manpower management and team leadership.

    • Skills :

    Excellent communication, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.

  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with experience in audit preparation and compliance.

    • Attitude :

    High sense of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism.

  • Open, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset with strong leadership qualities.
