Role Description

Respond.io is expanding rapidly, aiming for a $1 billion valuation following our successful Series A funding. We’re hiring a Senior Finance Specialist to own critical finance functions across reporting, forecasting, controls, and process optimization . This is a senior individual contributor role—equivalent in scope and compensation to a Finance Manager. You’ll be the finance team’s go-to problem solver : generalist in scope, strategic in thinking, and trusted by leadership for both detail and direction.

Responsibilities :

• Lead high-impact financial initiatives : collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive alignment, execution, and measurable business outcomes.
• Analyze complex financial data and business issues : offer clear, actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Own and continuously improve core finance processes (e.g., month‑end close, budgeting, forecasting, controls) : ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance.
• Provide strategic problem solving across finance challenges—from modeling to cost optimization and risk mitigation.
• Produce accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and narratives that inform leadership decisions and performance reviews.
• Champion process automation and data integrity : identify opportunities to reduce manual errors and improve reporting efficiency.
• Support compliance and audit readiness : help ensure audit readiness, policy adherence, and regulatory alignment.
• Mentor junior team members (where applicable) : provide guidance on analysis, tools, and professional development in a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
