Sr Analyst, Inventory Management (I6)

Penang . The Inventory Management team within Materials and Procurement safeguards inventory security and accountability by documenting transactions, verifying processes and procedures, and reviewing systems. We conduct physical inventories and lead cycle counts, correcting discrepancies where possible. We also audit incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy. Responsibilities

Perform system-to-system reconciliations between Dell and our 3PL inventory systems of record at a transactional level to identify variances. Complete system-to-system reconciliations and ad hoc inventory adjustments in a timely manner to support accurate reporting of inventory balances quarterly; analyze results and report to the management team. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions with stakeholders; ensure actions reduce variation in reported inventory balances. Ensure reconciliation functions comply with required audits and controls; complete inventory control audits and drive corrective actions for any findings. Engage in risk management : identify risk levels, propose solutions, and pursue continuous process improvement. Communicate reconciliation results effectively to stakeholders and management. Participate in projects impacting inventory to optimize and standardize processes, drive for consistency, and promote tools adoption; collaborate with cross-functional teams and share best practices with the global team. Qualifications

At least a Bachelor's Degree. Strong analytical skills and MS Office proficiency (especially Excel and Access). Preferred : 2–3 years of experience in Inventory Control, Operations, Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain, or IT; experience with large datasets; self-directed and independent in achieving objectives.
