ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (FACULTY OF MEDICINE) - FORENSIC MEDICINE

Responsibilities

Deliver lectures, tutorials, practicals, and clinical teaching sessions in assigned preclinical or clinical disciplines. Develop and update curriculum, teaching materials, assessment tools, and OSCE / clinical examination stations. Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in coursework, clinical postings, and research projects. Incorporate innovative teaching methods, including simulation, case-based learning, and technology-enhanced learning. Mentor junior academic staff and contribute to continuous improvement of teaching quality. Research & Scholarly Activity

Conduct independent and collaborative research in medical sciences, clinical medicine, medical education, or related fields. Publish regularly in indexed peer-reviewed journals and present at scientific / medical conferences. Secure research grants from internal and external funding bodies. Supervise postgraduate students (Master\'s, PhD) and contribute to capacity building in medical research. Promote inter-disciplinary and translational research between pre-clinical and clinical areas. Academic Administration & Service

Contribute to faculty and university committees, curriculum review, accreditation, and quality assurance processes. Support student affairs, mentorship, and academic advising. Participate in outreach programmes, community health initiatives, and continuing medical education activities. Represent the faculty in national and international academic, clinical, and professional forums. Qualifications

Required Qualifications MBBS / MD or equivalent with specialist qualification (Master\'s in Clinical Specialty, MRCP, FRCS, etc.).
