About the COE

The Center of Excellence (COE) is designed to enable Opella’s ambitions by building an autonomous, data‑driven organization. The COE focuses on creating intelligent capabilities to enhance quality and speed for our global brands, eliminating process duplication, removing silos, and delivering shared analytics and financial tools.

Main Responsibilities

  • Implement Finance M&S COE across the AMEA region.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a new team in the hub location, while ensuring smooth transition with existing staff.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and training to embed best practices.
  • Develop and execute a roadmap for process‑based team organization.
  • Lead the Finance M&S BA&C AMEA team, overseeing all reporting aspects for M&S AMEA.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop team members to drive high performance.
  • Align processes with stakeholders, including site Finance Performance leaders, site heads, and global M&S teams.
  • Oversee reporting activities for monthly closing, forecasting, and ad‑hoc requests.
  • Define financial reporting guidelines for the region and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Supervise data preparation, consolidation, and validation in financial tools.
  • Provide detailed analysis, commentary, and high‑quality reports to Opella management.
  • Continuously simplify processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong finance experience in manufacturing and supply, particularly in a consumer‑healthcare environment.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑cultural teams and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Advanced change‑management skills and a proactive, business‑oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial tools such as TM1 and SAP; openness to learning new data‑analysis platforms.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Fluent in English.
