We are seeking an experienced WMS Functional Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of our Warehouse Management System. The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into effective WMS solutions, drive process improvements in warehouse operations, and ensure seamless integration with other systems. This role requires deep functional knowledge of warehouse processes and hands‑on experience with leading WMS platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from warehouse and logistics stakeholders.
Configure and customize WMS functionality (e.g., receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, labor management, yard management).
Lead solution design workshops and map “as‑is” to “to‑be” warehouse processes.
Support system integration between WMS and ERP (e.g., SAP S / 4HANA, Oracle), TMS, and automation systems (e.g., conveyors, AS / RS, RF scanners).
Develop and execute test scripts (unit, integration, UAT); support defect resolution.
Provide end‑user training and create functional documentation (process flows, configuration guides, SOPs).
Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and change management leads throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Skills :

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, or a related field.

3+ years of hands‑on experience as a Functional Consultant on WMS implementations (e.g., SAP EWM, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Oracle WMS Cloud, Infor SCM, etc.).

Strong understanding of warehouse operations : inbound / outbound logistics, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, cross‑docking, wave management, and slotting.

Experience integrating WMS with ERP systems and material handling equipment (MHE) is highly desirable.

Familiarity with process automation, barcode / RFID technologies, and real‑time data capture.

Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work in fast‑paced, multi‑site, or global deployment environments.

Certification in a major WMS platform (e.g., SAP EWM) is a plus.

Willing to travel to the client site
