Description
ACP Business is seeking a Supply Planner to support Advanced Circuit and Packaging business growth. The role is accountable for supply planning within the required horizon to meet detailed production scheduling, and for the formal planning and execution of all tactical level processes required to secure and manage material supply based on a forward‑looking production plan. This position is the point person between the supply organization and plant to define and understand short‑term production issues and mid‑term supply needs, utilizing detailed capacity plans and interfacing with area managers, supervisors, and production teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop mid‑term and review short‑term supply plans with suppliers based on rolling forecast;
- Provide expected demand for ingredients and packaging materials to suppliers on a regular basis, obtaining supply‑capability confirmation;
- Identify and initiate response to raw‑material service / quality complaints from manufacturing, initiating return‑material process involving QA and Sourcing;
- Sustain healthy inventory levels by effective DSI, aging and non‑stand inventory review;
- Maintain accurate raw‑material and supplier master data including planning parameters such as order quantities or lot sizes, lead times, and safety stocks, supporting and escalating issues with BOM, recipes, etc.;
- Initiate and execute short‑ and mid‑term supply optimization based on production plan, demand, plant cost, and capacity structure, and communicate to the organization;
- Create, validate, and maintain a valid materials plan based upon the Master Production Schedule;
- Monitor production / purchasing orders and ensure they are closed accurately, maintaining system and data integrity;
- Coordinate secondary processing of finished product (e.g., rework and repackaging);
- Primary interface with local suppliers from the supply chain;
- Lead continuous improvement of the production schedule and material planning process;
- Ensure the right materials are procured at the right time, quality, and quantity to minimize production and storage costs;
- Execute plans for non‑productive raw materials disposition, managing the health of raw materials, semi‑finished and packaging materials.
Qualifications
BS / BA in Supply Chain or related business field;Contract manufacturing or vendor management experience preferred;Good communicator and influencer, able to negotiate with different levels in the organization;Able to facilitate discussions toward resolution;Process‑oriented, strong time‑management skills, and results‑oriented;Competence in SAP, Excel, Power BI or ability to learn quickly on the job;APICS CPIM / CSCP expected to be obtained on the job within the required timeline.Join our Talent Community to stay connected with us!
