Senior Executive, Compliance

About the role

ELK-DESA CAPITAL SDN BHD is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Executive, Compliance to join our team in Klang, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, playing a key role in upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and coordinate compliance operations for the Business Department, ensuring strict adherence to internal policies, the Hire Purchase Act and other applicable regulations.
• Plan and execute compliance reviews to identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, and potential risks; provide practical, actionable recommendations to improve operational effectiveness.
• Oversee the operational handling of HP Agreements, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely completion.
• Manage document management processes, ensuring proper storage, access control, filing, retrieval, and referencing in line with requirement.
• Prepare clear, concise, and timely compliance reports for the Head of Unit to support informed decision-making.
• Ensure smooth daily operations and effective coordination between team members to meet deadlines and compliance standards.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as directed by the Head of Department / Unit.
