Overview
The technician is responsible for compliance with all company regulations, including the Employee Handbook, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and ISO standards (9001, 13485, 14001, 45001) at all times. They must always wear required PPE and maintain equipment and the working environment.
Responsibilities
- Use only approved materials and parameters for the dipping process.
- Uphold machines as per procedure and perform shutdown preventive maintenance.
- Conduct in-house project fabrication and supervise daily activities.
- Maintain tools and spare parts weekly.
- Attend to customer complaints.
- Maintain documentation as required, update daily reports and filing, perform daily ERP transactions (Epicor), conduct bi-weekly stock takes, and participate in internal and external audits.
Communication
Liaise with the Production department on production plans, repairs, and projects; with Compounding on production plans and quality concerns; with the Maintenance team for daily work; and with the Lab, QA, and HR departments for related affairs, as well as with clinics or hospitals for medical prescriptions and admissions.Skills
Proficiency in applying procedures and systems, including SOPs, Work Instructions (WI), and the ERP system Epicor.Essential technical skills include the use of SCADA systems and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).Education
